Minutes: Minutes from the April 22 meeting were taken as read.

Thanks: Kevin made a special thanks to everyone who came to the school to help with addresses so the first batch of Registration forms could be sent out.
Finance: $60 Registrations Balance at April 30th $1000.22

Matters arising:
Sponsorship: Craig has secured sponsorship with Farmlands for the Friday Evening. Now to be known as ‘Farmlands Wine and Cheese’. We will display banners on the night and Michael will download their logo onto our registration forms. We are to invoice them half the amount now and half in August.
We are awaiting written confirmation of another business giving financial support, without full naming rights.
Members are again urged to register
Michael and David are working on merging our data bases.
Registration form is to be upgraded with Farmlands name and logo.

- Security ; OK
- Signs; OK Whitehall to take sign to next Car Wash May 22nd and will take sign to Fieldays.
- Splashy ; Probably doing the tiles, mention of Jeff Allen?
- Radio ; OK
- Sponsorship ; OK Craig still working on this
- Licence; Bar Manager’s form is ready and Kevin will take it to council. Secretary to write letter of thanks and invite to Paul and Faye Cowan
- Marquee ; OK If numbers are low, 150 / 170 , events can be held in the Karapiro Hall
- Name tags; We can hold off printing until approx July 20th. We have sample colours of ribbon
Sunday Service; Barbara will contact Gordon Jellyman re service. Perhaps have 2 children do a reading. About half and hour. Judy McColl to play piano
Saturday; Present children to sing.
Ex- Pupils; Barbara and Dell will go through admission book for those “newer” ex-pupils from Karapiro. Whitehall will do same
Publicity; We need more ways to catch more people. Another article in the local papers; Michael can make Flyers from our sign; Justin will ask High School if we could put sign at their in-town concert;
Drinks; Kevin will again look into beer ie kegs / bottles
Soft drinks / wine New World?
Souvenirs; David G will check to see how soon we will need numbers re engraving.
Michael: Still looking for more anecdotes etc.
Speakers: Discussion was held regarding who would speak when and for how long. Saturday Luncheon MPs? Mayor? BOT Chairs? Principals? MC?
Evening Dinner Guest Speaker
Everyone is urged to consider this and come along to the next meeting so speakers can be finalised.
