Karapiro, Whitehall, Taotoroa and Karapiro Hydro Schools’ 125th Jubilee Committee
Meeting 10 Held on Tuesday 16th February 2010.
Present: Kevin Roigard, Deb Robinson, Barbara Smythe, David Graham, Michael Jeans, Justin Bertrand, Del Sinnott, Betty Newcombe

Finance: Balance $738.92 $100 (registration X 4) to be banked Moved Barbara 2nd Del
Matters Arising:
- Signs: More signs are ready to be erected; Racecourse Rd, Maungatautari Rd & at Whitehall School .
- Marquee: David has spoken to hire company and there is no real problem with delaying our deposit.
- Drinks: Kevin has been to Shakespeare Liquor. They have given an approximate quote on amounts of beer and wine needed. They will deliver drinks cold in ice and can refill during the evening if needed. We will look into buying wine elsewhere , maybe supermarkets. Bottled wine rather than casks. We will get some spirits for the Saturday night function. Friday will be beer, wine and juice only.
- Licence: Shakespeare Liquor can provide a Bar Manager which would mean we would not have to. Justin will check a friend of his too.
- Sponsorship: Craig Sulzberger and David G have put together a proposal and Craig is very confident we can raise some funds. We are allowing 2 weeks for confirmation, so advertising can be included on the registration forms. It was moved that we give David and Craig the freedom to negotiate sponsorship on our behalf. Accepted Del 2nd Justin Barbara thanked the two for their work.
- Registration: A group met at Karapiro School on Monday 15th . The proposed Registration Form was presented. A couple of small changes will be made and now time for sponsorship is being allowed. The final form will be ready for our next meeting, March 8th and then they can be sent out on March 9th.
- Speakers: Kerryanne is waiting to hear back from Mike Kneebone, Rob Waddell has been approached and would be willing to talk.
- Cloth: Embroidery will be added to original cloth. Only needs to have 125th Jubilee September 2010 added
- Money: We would like all payments to be made by August 31st.
- DVD: This can be produced with any extra money at the end.
- Greenery: Mike Miller is the contact and they will deliver plants.
- Publicity: Caroline Webbon and Michael are meeting to take a couple of photos for an article.
- Music: Confirmed at a cost of $800 incl GST
- Karapiro BoT has offered assistance when needed
