125th Jubilee Committee
Meeting 9 Held on Thursday February 4th
Present: Kevin Roigard, Deb Robinson, Barbara Smythe, David Graham, David Roigard, Michael Jeans, Kerryanne Walker, Del Sinnott, Carolyn Brakenrig, Grant Brunskill, Justin Bertrand ( Whitehall Principal ) and Craig Sulzberger

Matters Arising:
- Signs: We had talked about angled but as they were erected it was decided just to leave flat against fences. We still have 4 more to be erected. 1 on Vosper’s on Maungatautari Rd, 1 on Racecourse Rd, 1 on Whitehall School fence and 1 more possibly on the Kaimais.
- Music: Under control. Tim Santner
- Finance: Balance $950 Interest .32c Cheque clearance 4 X .35c, $1.40 Dec Balance $948.92 Graphix NTintz $810 Closing Bal $138.92 We do have $500 for a grant not showing as it needs to be put into school account and then transferred for GST purposes, so the balance is really $638.92
- Marquee: We need to pay a deposit of $2950 in March. David R. will see if he can negotiate time of payment.
- Sponsorship: Craig brought up the idea of corporate sponsorship for particular events as we have no cash flow and money is needed up front. We need the right people to contact businesses, eg Bunnings Wine and Cheese. David G and Craig will get together to work on a plan.
- Registration: This is now our priority. The form will be done by next week. On Monday 15th, Michael will be at Karapiro School from 9am. Could anybody with spare time come along to start getting registrations out.
- Publicity: Caroline Webbon has been doing this. We would like to get maybe another article in the paper and possibly womens’ mags.
- Photos: Michael OK . May need to fine tune the timing for Whitehall photos.
- Wine and Cheese evenings: Will look into sponsorship. Nothing done to date.
- Speaker: Kerryanne will talk to Mike Kneebone to see if he will be in the country or perhaps even if NZ Bloodstock would be willing to sponsor to any degree. Craig will talk to Rob Waddell. Dave R will consider Sir Patrick Hogan if the others are unavailable.
- Greenery: Barbara has a contact to find out about plants for the event.
- Table: Margaret Roigard has the table the Centennial Cake sat on. She will do the embroidery for this Jubilee.
- Other: Judy McColl has offered to play the piano at Karapiro on the Friday night and during pre-dinner time on Saturday. Whitehall will see if we can approach someone also.
Monday 15th 9am onwards to begin registrations
Another meeting is to be held on Tuesday 16th February at 7pm at the school.
We need to discuss speakers , drinks etc as time is moving along.
