Present: Kevin Roigard, Deb Robinson, Barbara Smythe, Dave Roigard, David Graham, Shona McCulloch, Kerryanne Walker, Betty Newcombe, Vicky Webb, Caroline Webbon, Delwyn Sinnott, Helen Taylor, Bevan Higgins and Jim and Noeline Todd

Welcome: Kevin again welcomed so many people and a special welcome to Bevan and Jim and Noeline, long time residents.
Minutes: June minutes were read and accepted by Kevin , 2nd by Del
Matters Arising:
- Marquees; Dave Roigard had definite quote from McEntee Hire. $5491 for marquee erected on site
$9800 for marquee plus tables, chairs floor , lighting,toilets.
Dave moved we confirm booking on marquee and decide on extras closer to the time. Seconded by Barbara
Del and Jasmine have grant application forms, including one for Transpower. They will act on those. - Music; Kerryanne is still trying to get a written quote from Paul Taranaki
- Security: Kevin has finalised a deal with the Cambridge Rugby Referees. At least 2 men 7pm Fri til 8am Sat
1pm Sat til 8am Sun
Cost being $1500. Moved Kevin Seconded Shona - Parking: Hall and neighbour. Neighbour to have advertising for some accommodation in return for parking.
- Louise Upston has given a tentative yes to attending.
- Signage: Newcombes and Kripners both fine with signs on property. Vospers will talk to their lessees. We will contact Murphys regarding paddock on corner of Whitehall and Karapiro Rds. Bevan has offered to contact owners of property on Cnr Racecourse Rd and H’way 1 nth of town. Swaps to be asked about Kaimai Range location.
Vicky has been in contact with council. Signs need to be back a little from road and size of 1.2 X 1.2 mtrs. JP Synman is Roading Engineer in charge.
Cambridge Store okay also. Possibly have sign up for 3 wks down for 3wks depending on what else is happening at the time.
Jeff Fletcher will make signs. Betty Newcombe’s cousin in Te Puke would like to put in a quote for the sign writing.
Graphix n’Tintz. Daniel Gibbs was hoping to come to meeting. - Souvenirs: No more discussion

- Publicity; Caroline Webbon is waiting to hear back re costing and what we can get for free.
Cambridge Edition will do a free Editorial.
Cambridge News also very approachable.
“What’s on “ is free, other ads are at normal price.
We need to canvas outside our local catchment area. Reunions page in Women’s Weekly etc.
Centenary began adverting about 12 months out. If we start soon with small ads etc and then 6 months out have major publicity happening. - Copies of previous attendance to be distributed so addresses etc can be checked. Older attendees to be contacted personally by mail.
- Gloria Graham will bake and decorate Jubilee Cake.
- Barbara Smythe to look into a cloth for the cake table.
- Bank account is set up awaiting funds!
- Michael would like more photos for website. Take anything direct to him for scanning.
- Licence for bar. Kevin will look into this.
- First aid. Probably covered by enough people with certificates.
